New development: soon to be ample stock of new hydraulic steering boxes

Within our organization, we are continuously improving and expanding our offering. While we are traditionally strong in the overhaul and repair of wheelhouses, we also clearly see where the market is changing and what our customers need.

One of the points we have to be honest about is that the availability of new hydraulic wheelhouses so far have not always been at the level we ourselves aspire to. However, this will change in the near future.

From weak point to strong complement

In recent years we have focused mainly on the overhaul of existing steering boxes. This remains an important part of our service and in many cases still offers the best solution, especially with complex or electronically controlled systems.

Still, we find that within hydraulic applications there is a growing demand for readily available, new wheelhouses. Consider situations in which:

• speed is essential
• the original steering box is no longer available or economically repairable
• customers choose a direct replacement solution

To better address this, we have been working recently to establish a large and stable stock of new wheelhouses.

Collaboration with proven partner

For this expansion, we are working with an established partner with whom we have had a successful relationship for many years. Among other things, this partner also develops and produces our project steering boxes for:

• Porsche 993
• Porsche 964
• Porsche 997

This long-term cooperation ensures that we not only have access to newly developed steering boxes, but also influence the quality and specifications.

This is essential to us. After all, we do not want to offer a standard commercial product, but one that we fully support.

The new steering boxes were developed in close cooperation with our partner and produced according to strict specifications.

Thanks to this approach:

• products are developed according to our requirements
• targeted quality control takes place
• we can guarantee the reliability our customers have come to expect from us

We therefore fully support these products and provide them with the same assurance and support as our overhaul solutions.

No exchange, no hassle

An important difference from many suppliers in the market is that we have these steering boxes not on an exchange basis deliver.

Meaning:

• do not return old steering box
• no deposit structures
• no discussion of the condition of the return part

For our customers, this simply saves time, cost and red tape. You order a new steering box, install it, and can proceed immediately without any additional obligations afterwards.

Especially in practice, this proves to be a great advantage, especially in vehicles where the original steering box is already missing or badly damaged.

With this expansion, we can serve our customers even better. Where revision was often the only option before, we will soon be able to make the best choice for each situation:

• Revision → in complex, original or hard-to-replace systems
• New steering box → in hydraulic applications where speed and availability are key
